UCMDB Tip: How to change the default aging value

The default aging interval is 40 days, of you need to change this value for specific CI Types, please do the following:

- Go under CI Type Manager

- Select the required CI Type

- Open Attributes Tab

- Edit the value of "Actual Deletion Period" as required

Re: UCMDB Tip: How to change the default aging value

It is not working for me. For instance, I have made following changes on InfrastructureElement CI Type.

Actual Deletion Period as 240 days. Though Default value is 40

Deletion Candidate Period as 120 days. Though Default value is 20

Now all the CI Type inherited from InfrastructureElement CI Type, for instance, node CI Type is having aging values as 240 days and 120 days respectively but yet

1. CIs are getting removed from uCMDB after 40 days of last access time.

2. CIs are marked for deletion after 20 days of last access time.

Note, we are using CMS 2018.11 (i.e. 11.3.124 , CP29)

Does anybody has any solution for this ?

Thanks & Regards,

Rohit S
