UCMDB Tip: How to tune the performance of the XML Enricher in UD 10.10

In case when there are too many scan files for the XML Enricher to process, if the sever capacity meets or exceeds standard requirements, to improve the performance you might consider enlarging Java XML Enricher configuration, such as increasing threads number and Java Heap Size. In order to do that, please follow the steps below:

  • To change mode and max memory

        The default mode is DB mode, edit the following files to enable memory mode

               C:\hp\UCMDB\DataFlowProbe\bin\xmlenricher\WrapperEnricher.conf

               wrapper.java.additional.1=-DsaiDataProvider=Memory

               wrapper.java.maxmemory=5120

  • To change threads number

               C:\hp\UCMDB\DataFlowProbe\conf \ enricher.properties

               max_enricher_thread_number=2
