UCMDB Tip: Inventory Scanner does not scan Device Driven Subst mounts on Solaris 10

Recently we came across an issue where the Inventory Scanner was not collecting data from some folders on Solaris 10 system, while all the settings in the scanner configuration seemed to be in place.

It turned out that the system was a Solaris local zone and the scanner was not scanning the directories in question because they were mounted as lofs.

To resolve this issue,  the following lines were added to the .override.ini file in the Scanner configuration>Scanner Options -->Troubleshooting tab:

[include]
fs=lofs
