UCMDB Tip : "[ErrorCode [167] Type layout is invalid" error

A document was published recently about an error [ErrorCode [167] Type layout is invalid - defined CI type is not descendant of the pattern element CI type] which may get logged in Error.log file.

A Change Request has been logged for a future release but until then a workaround has been provided to suppress the message since the warning can be ignored.

Extract from Error.log

from host applications job:

There is no functional impact related to the warning which is logged. Warnings of this type can be ignored.

A change request has been logged for a future release to change the underlying identification tql for the sap_app_server CI Type.
In the interim, the warning can be suppressed by changing the loglevel to Error.

Change log4j.rootCategory=WARN, to ERROR under x:\UCMDBServer\conf\log\root\root.properties
