UD 10.10 Licensing questions

Hi  Experts,

I have following queries on the UD 10.10 licensing:

a) How I can find , how much license I have consumed for Eg my license  is 81 OS License  ,  then how many I have used  , form  Unix and windows CIT ,  I cannot find that because there are few more resources which are giving CI to the UCMDB

b) I have not done layer 2 discovery yet  , will each router or switch will count as single OS instance ?

Regards,

Ashish

Re: UD 10.10 Licensing questions

Hi,

I would like to show you some information about counting OSi:

The following is actually a union of 3 TQLs

  1. Computer TQL
    1. Include all Computers
  2. Nodes TQL
    1. Include all nodes
      1. without node role of network device
      2. with OSFamily attribute value
  3. Running Software TQL
    1. Include nodes that have running software
      1. Excluding DNS server, Agents, RunningSoftware concrete CIT

However, this is so complicated, you should follow Dima Gomel's recommendation to more understand these things.

Best Regards,

Hoang.
