UD 10.10 to SM9.30 Computer Push Fails

Experts,

I am activating a push job from ucmdb 10.10 to SM9.30, I am seeing that, the entire computer push job is failing.

I was checking the out of box adapter and found that

<xsl:stylesheet version="1.0" xmlns:xsl="http://www.w3.org/1999/XSL/Transform">
    <xsl:template match="/node">
        <model>
            <keys/>
            <instance>
                <file.device>
                    <!--import:cmdb_root_attributes.xslt-->
                    <Type>computer</Type>
                    <xsl:variable name="prefix" select="'Value>'"/>
                    <xsl:variable name="suffix" select="'</Value'"/>
                    <Subtype>
                        <xsl:choose>
                            <xsl:when test="contains(@node_role,concat($prefix,'desktop',$suffix))">Desktop</xsl:when>
                            <xsl:when test="@os_family">
                                <xsl:value-of select="@os_family"/>
                            </xsl:when>
                            <xsl:otherwise>Server</xsl:otherwise>
                        </xsl:choose>
                    </Subtype>
                    <xsl:if test="contains(@node_role,concat($prefix,'virtualized_system',$suffix))">
                        <IsVisualization>true</IsVisualization>
                    </xsl:if>
                    <!--import:sm_device_common_attributes.xslt-->
                    <!--import:asset_mapping.xslt-->
                    <!--import:location_attribute_mapping.xslt-->

                </file.device>
                <file.node>
                    <!--import:sm_node_attributes.xslt-->
                    <!--import:cpu_mapping.xslt-->
                    <!--import:disk_device_mapping.xslt-->
                    <!--import:filesystem_mapping.xslt-->
                    <!--import:ips_mapping_push.xslt-->
                    <!--import:interfaces_mapping_push.xslt-->
                </file.node>
            </instance>
        </model>
    </xsl:template>
</xsl:stylesheet>

In the file.node, the .xslt lines are commented out . Should i be uncommenting these lines ?

Please guide.

Thank you

Re: UD 10.10 to SM9.30 Computer Push Fails

Hello,

Could you please let us know the error received when the job fails.

1. You can navigate to Data Flow Management > Integration Studio.
2. Select the integration point for this integration from Integration Point list.
3. Click the Data Push tab.
4. Select the job from Integration Jobs.
5. Click the Job Errors sub-tab, and double-click the Severity of a message from the list.
6. A popup window displays the detailed error message of this failed job.

Or

Navigate to <UCMDB installation folder>\UCMDBServer\runtime\log and upload fcmdb* files along with Error.log.

Regards,

Unni

Hello nse,

The .xslt lines are transformation files for customization of the actual state of Configuration items between uCMDB and Service Manager. Please find more on the following knowledge document, where you also can take an access to the SM & UCMDB Integration Guide.

Best Regards,
