Unix server host connection- command time out

Hi,

For few servers , host connection by sheel is shoing command time out error.

From communication logs, i found the error is  as below

CDATA: Key exchange failed: Timeout when connecting to server

What is this error and how to resolve this??

I changed shell command timeout value from 15000 to 20000 from global settings but still getting same error.

Please suggest.

with regards,

Nick

Re: Unix server host connection- command time out

Hi Nick,

Can you try to connect to this server through putty from your probe server and see how much time it take to connect with the same service account you are using for Discovery?
