Update attribute on CIs only if their hostname match with a certain string

Hi,

For CI Type "Unix", I want to update the attribute "Note" with the string "blabla" ONLY if their display_label is containing the character "L" at the 3rd position (ex: TRLH876)

How can I specify that in the query node properties within my enrichment rule?

Is there any other character than % I can use?

Thank you for your help,

Regards,

Bruno

Hi Bruno,

This forum is for Asset Manager and Connect-It questions -- there is a separate forum for UD/UCMDB questions.

You can find it here: http://community.hpe.com/t5/UCMDB-and-UD-Support-Customer/bd-p/ucmdb-support-customer-forum#.VsyqbZjruHs

Re: Update attribute on CIs only if their hostname match with a certain string

Hello Bruno

You can go to uCMDB online document. In the chapter: "Modeling > Introduction > Topology Query Language > Attribute Operator Definitions" You can find out all Operators uCMDB supported.

But in this part, I think we don't support regexps.

If your expression is complex, I guess you may want to give a shot for uCMDB APIs.
