Upgrade from 10.xx t0 10.20, ssl setup

Jump to solution

Did anyone upgrade from 10.xx to 10.20 using https_client_auth from probe to server?

Do we have to do the whole certificate configuration stuff again (import, export, copy) or can we reuse the \..\conf\security\ directories from the old systems?

Hi,

You can see detailed information in the deployment guide

This is from the post-upgrades procedures:

  • SSL.

    • Reinstall SSL configurations. For details, see "Enabling Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) Communication" in the HP Universal CMDB and Configuration Manager Hardening Guide.

    • If SSL was activated on the source system, restore the \conf\security folder that you backed up before the upgrade.

Regards,

-Alonso.
