VirtualCenter Modelization

We want to modelize VirtualCenter <-> ESX <-> VM Machines ....

I have had vim25.jar file in probe discovery

We ran

"Host application by Shell"

"VMWare ESX Connection by VIM"

"VMWare ESX Topology by VIM"

"VMWare VirtualCenter Connection by VIM"

"VMWare VirtualCenter Topology by VIM"

=> it discover lots of CI's type, but what i want to do is to relate VirtualCenter with ESX it manages ...

Actually, when i select Virtual Center Ci  Type (appearing As "Installed Software"), only OS type is related, nothing else....

How can i visually relate ESX / VCenter (and VMs) ?

Thanks in advance

Re: VirtualCenter Modelization

Use the Virtualization Layer Software CI Type. ESX Servers have a composition relationship to it and VM Guests have an Execution Environment realtionship to it and VMware Clusters have a membership relationship it to it.

You can also use a compound relationship from the ESX to the VM guest using the Virtualization Layer Software CI Type
