Working on UCMDB Web Service

Hi All,

I'm newbie on the UCMDB Web Services. I'm using UCMDB 10.01 in my env.

I'm trying to work on the UCMDB Web Service. I was getting this error "Please enable REST support in WEB-INF/conf/axis2.xml and WEB-INF/web.xml " So Based on the error, I modified the parameter "enableRESTInAxis2MainServlet" in axis2.xml file to true. And after changing this. I got something different and I think I'm missing out something,  When I open this link: http://localhost:8080/axis2/services/UcmdbService, I get this "I can not find a service for this request to be serviced. Check the WSDL and the request URI".

I just tried to validate the axis2, But I got the below message displayed.

Examining Version Service

There was a problem in Axis2 version service , may be the service not available or some thing has gone wrong. But this does not mean system is not working ! Try to upload some other service and check to see whether it is working.

Can anyone guide me to know better on this.

Thanks in advance..

Hello Jimmy,

The link to test should  be

http://servername:port/axis2/services/ucmdbSMService?wsdl (added ?wsdl al the end of the service)

Please look at http://support.openview.hp.com/selfsolve/document/KM1159562 (refer to 9.0x)

It also ask to restart the ucmdb server.

Regarding validation , I get the same message  (see image bellow)

There is also several UCMDB Web Services documents you can access from http://support.openview.hp.com/selfsolve/document/KM1431407
