addition of new rule in snmp normalization rule

Hi,

I am working on UCMDB10.10 CP13 on windows OS

I wanted to disocver toshiba printer and same was discovered by SNMP but few properties have not been disocvered properly. Also in normalization rule , there is no sys.oid.id  of Toshiba printer in snmp.gz file.

I edited snmp.gz file and added  expected sys.oid.id and required details like input rule and output rule.

Post addition of new rule in snmp.gz file, I tried to deploy normalization rule package but showing error like "resources are not supported" so again I edited oidtohostclasses.xml file and edited there itself but still expected attributes are not getting disocvered.

Please suggest.

Regards,

Nick

I think the document I wrote on this will help you.  Just make sure that your CI Type is what you want it to be.
