can the customer get the VM Guest and ESX Host Mapping using just UDI ?

A customer had licenses for DDMI, we upgraded them to UD Inventory, my question is can the customer get the VM Guest and ESX Host Mapping using just UDI ?

Hello,

 

Yes, UD Inventory licence includes the ability to collect basic VMware topology information, such as VM Guest to ESX/ESXi host mapping. In addition to that, the virtualisation topology can be collected for Hyper-V (which was not available in DDMI).This virtualisation discovery is configured as part of the Inventory Discovery activity in Universal Discovery.
