Re: installing Probe and HPUD app on one server.

Another issue that can show up is if you also want to use Configuration Manager in the environment.  Configuration Manager requires the UCMDB Integration Service to be running in order to talk to the UCMDB.  Since the Integration Service is effectively a light weight Data Flow Probe, it uses the same ports.  Since Integration Service and Data Flow Probe cannot co-exist, installing Configuration Manager means the Data Flow Probe to not be installed on the UCMDB server.

Re: installing Probe and HPUD app on one server.

It's not advised to install a probe on the same server as UD, but if you are then you have to disable the Integration Service as it will have a port conflict with the probe and the probe won't start

You can confirm this by in the WrapperProbeGw.log or starting the probe using Start Data Flow Porbe (console) and watching the console
