<UCMDB Support Tip>Is there a maximum number of probes that can be connected to the UCMDB server

Question:

Is there a maximum number of probes that can be connected to the UCMDB server?

Solution:

Tests have been done in our environment using 100 probes. However, due to the consideration of performance, it is not recommend to deploy the UCMDB server with more than 60 probes.

For larger environments, several UCMDB servers can be created for discovery and a central UCMDB server can also be created for single data view where the UCMDB discovery can push the discovered data to the central UCMDB.

Cheers,
Alvin Li
