similarity policies to ensure installedsoftware the same among servers

I am trying to create a similarity policy to ensure the installed software is the same across a set of servers.

For example, let’s say I have 3 servers (to make it easy)

                svr-01

                svr-02

                 svr-03

Each should have the same installedsoftware resides on each server and the version is the same on all servers :

Display Name                                                                        Version
Configuration Manager Client                                               4.00.6487.2000
Dell OpenManage Systems Management Software (64-Bit) 7.4.0
McAfee Agent                                                                        4.8.2003
McAfee VirusScan Enterprise                                               8.8.04001
Microsoft Exchange 2007 Enterprise Anti-spam Signatures 3.3.4604.600

I am trying to write a single similarity policy to make sure that these InstalledSoftware instances exists on each server and the version is the same.

Re: similarity policies to ensure installedsoftware the same among servers

Hello Kedemk,

I hope you are doing well .

We will try to create a view . This view with the relationship between Cis to InstalledSoftware with the rule (name of the software ) .

This view will show us all the CIs with this InstalledSoftware .

Please feel free to contact me if you need something else.
