uCMDB 10.01 - DB adapter - Delete not populate

Hi,

We currently use DB Adapater to populate data from an Oracle Db => uCMDB ...

all works fine excepted when any source data (db Oracle) is deleted, the job doesn't populate this deletion and keep the object "alive" in ucMDB ...

How can i resolve that issue ?

thanks in advance

You mean, if entry is deleted in the database, you dont see the same CI got deleted in the ucmdb.

Though, you run the diff replciaiton, you dont see this is happenign.

Hello !

Yes, it is what's happening ....

In SM, when i update and ran a diff integration, it updates in uCMDB correctly ...

BUt, when i delete in SM, diff integration (eventhough complete integration) doesn't do anything on this object ....

Please check for 'Allow integration Job to delete removed data' marked. See attached screenshot.

Re: uCMDB 10.01 - DB adapter - Delete not populate

I used GDBA (generic DB adapter). That's best possible way to integrate UCMDB and DB.

In case you're using python based adapter you could try to use Automatic deletion feature (on the adapter Configuration tab - see the screen shot). But GDBA is recommended way to go.

Hi,

thank you for your reply ...

We have already  checked "automatic deletion" ... without results as i said.

Let's try Generic Db adapter  .... i tell you further 😉

I doubt import to DB, job dont support the delete option, but GDBA suports that.
