uCMDB CUP3 patch taking time to upgrade DDMA servers

Jump to solution

Hi All,

Did someone come across the similar issue, which I am currently experiencing.

I have installed CUP3 in my production environment, during the installation I selected the option to upgrade the DDMA server as well.

But it is almost 26hrs and my DDMA servers are not updated with new patch.

Out of 12 DDMA servers only 6 are with new patch.

No discovery job is currently running on them. Not sure why they are taking this much of time.

Any idea?

They are haivng an ER# for this.

If auto update fails, you should try installing it manually. It's described in CUP install guide:

1. stop the probe

2. copy DDM patch to C:\hp\UCMDB\DataFlowProbe\runtime\upgrade

3. run as administator following command: C:\hp\UCMDB\DataFlowProbe\tools\upgrade\extractUpgradePackage.bat

4. start the probe
