uCMDB node attribute. Calculated Location vs Discovered Location

Jump to solution

Hello

Does anyone know what is the difference?

Only calculcated location has a short description in CIT Manager. How is discovered location filled and how is calculated location calculated?

Are these for network devices or for servers too?

Thank you

From support

Apparently SM - UCMDB uses also the calculated location in the mapping.

So, it is not populated by UCMDB discovery, rather mapped to some external CIs coming through integrations.
