Agreed - when we implement support for discovery of an OS like RHEL 8, we would include support for both agent-based (UDA) and agent-less.

We released the ability to discover RHEL 8 with CP2019.08.  We will have the ability to deploy UCMDB and DFP onto RHEL8 systems with our following release.

Is there a new UDAgent which can be installed on RHEL8 and works with older UCMDB Versions like v10.31 or v10.33?

We delivered a UD agent that works with RHEL8 as part of CP2019.08.  The only reason this idea is not marked as delivered is that we're working in our next release to support the deployment of UCMDB and UD upon RHEL8 OS.

So, yes, you can deploy the agent from CP2019.08 to any previous version of UCMDB that is still supported.   In your case, this would be 10.33 (but not 10.31).
