Attach an architecture diagram and associate with an Application CI Type

Brief Description

Typically when we begin modelling an application, we use a client's application architecture (Vizio, PNG, JPEG, PDF, whatever) as a starting point.  I would like to upload and store this architecture diagram and associate it with an application so that we can track diagrams and refer to them easily when needed.  This concept can also apply to application data flow diagrams, logic diagrams, or Process Diagrams.  All are valuable and can/should be associated with their respective applications.

Benefits / Value

Having a copy of the clients diagram allows us a starting point to model and provides us with the capability to reference where applciation signatures came from.  Also, in the absence of a model or when validating a model, it would help to have the diagram readily available.

Design details

Perhaps create an architecture or diagram CI type an allow an uploaded diagram to be related to other CI's.  Alternatively, allow it to be uploaded as an attribute of a business application?
