Extended functionality AMGenericAdapter / Population with operation-type

Hi all,

If I populate data from Asset Manager to UCMDB with the AMGenericAdapter, and a CI is available in Asset Manager but not in UCMDB, the CI will be created in UCMDB automatically. This is strictly forbidden from the customer's point of view.

Actually I am not abble to prevent this behavior (using a query condition does not solve the problem).

If I push data from UCMDB to Asset Manager I have an attribute "operation-type" with I can control the behavior (insert, update, update_els_insert, ...) and that is exactly what I need in the population part of the adapter.

Thanks,
Achim
