Filter Change Reports by ci attribute

0 Votes

I've been troubleshooting an issue within my customer's environment where a couple of the discovery jobs update the primary_dns_name attribute to values that need to be modified (on the server). This is causing the name of the ci to flip flop between name1 to name2. I was looking at the CI Change Report and I noticed that I'm unable to filter the report to show Cis that were updated by the primary_dns_name attribute (only)within the last day. I'm also unable to filter that search by building a basic query. Would it be possible to have feature that allows users to search for changes based on a CI attribute?

I have good news. The feature is long time available in UCMDB. You have to create a federated TQL query with "History Attribute Change" CI Type and Node .

Create a topic in the forum and somebody may help you.
