Host Applications by Shell should return Oracle version

At the moment Host Applications by shell discovery is not designed to discover the Oracle DB version.
This could be discovered via SQL.
Customer doesn’t have sql access, so the only possibility would be via Host Applications by shell discovery  job.

So please enhance Host Applications by shell discovery that Oracle DB version is discovered.

This is a requirement for HA by Shell and WMI. We can retrieve the Oracle version even via WMI.

Status changed to: Already Offered

I've marked this ER as Already Offered because this was a feature we actually did provide over the last year or so.  However, it sounds like there is some form of defect that is causing the Oracle DB version to not be collected in the case of your customer.  Please submit a ticket for this issue (per the screen capture and email I sent to you directly)
