Limitation on 500 characters with AssumeRole ARN in AWS protocol. its difficult to handle hundreds of account on diff credentials is a  tedious process.

If you have a lot of accounts then wouldn't be more logical to have a list instead of a very long string?

Can this not be changed in CI Type Manager? If you go under CI Type Manager and look for AWS Protocol and then click on the Attributes Tab you will see your AssumeRole ARN attribute there. Click on the pencil to edit the attribute and then change it from something other than 500 characters.

we actually tried this an expanded the assume_role_arn attrinute to the maximum of 4000 which is an UI limitation.

There is still the problem of managing hundreds of accounts.
