.NETCORE deployment discovery

.NETCORE deployment discovery

0 Votes

Add a discovery module for the .NETCORE applications deployment.

Since the applications are now "decoupled" from the IIS WebServer, the current IIS discovery module will not be able to discover the applications.

As well, the new discovery module should also be able to discover .NETCORE deployed applications on all the supported platforms and web servers.

Thank you,

Benoit

As it seems, kestrel web server can run behind not just IIS, but other fully functional web servers, like nginx, Apache, etc., so most likely it would have to be a new discovery job. Is this the case?

Hello Doron, yes this is the case, .NETCore applications can be deployed in several different web environments amd as such it will require a new discovery job.
