Virtual CI type, mapping some attributes fro other CI by TQL query

Virtual CI type, mapping some attributes fro other CI by TQL query

Many use case need different granularity from the discovery perspective.

We usually define a new CI type and using Enrichment to copy the attribute from dicovered CI instance to achieve this.

Can we using a virtual CI type base on a TQL and mappying the attributes from the TQL result to the CI we defined to achieve this?

Just like using  define a flat report in model studio and mapping to a CI type.

This is easy to deal with 1:1 relationship and  for 1:n relationship we also can use some function like concat, summation to handle.

I am located at MF Shanghai office and welcome to concat me about this.
