<UCMDB Support Tip> when pull servers from SIM , we didn't get serial number data

Topic
After we ran the UCMDB-SIM integration , we noticed that the Nodes pulled from SIM don't have serial number . while they have the value in SIM .

Response
In the OOTB mapping file SIM_To_UCMDB_Sample_MappingFile.xml , the serial number in SIM is mapped to Bios_serial_number in UCMDB .

<!--SIM Node -> UCMDB Enclosure -->
<source_ci_type name="enclosure" nameSpace="" query="">
<apioutputseq>1</apioutputseq>
<target_ci_type name="enclosure">
<targetprimarykey>
<pkey>host_key</pkey>
</targetprimarykey>
<target_attribute name="data_name" datatype="StrProp" >
<map type="direct" source_attribute="Node.Name" />
</target_attribute>
........
<target_attribute name="bios_serial_number" datatype="StrProp" >
<map type="direct" source_attribute="Node.SerialNumber" />
</target_attribute>
........

Previously we mapped the value to serial number in UCMDB , while this has been changed since Content Pack 21 referring to QCCR1H107678 ,as some users raised the concern that the serial number in SIM is actually the serial number of BIOS not the device .
And compared with the values in MS SCCM , which could get both BIOS serial number and machine serial number , we identified that the serial number in SIM is BIOS serial number .
