## Problem:

Why did the CaliberRDM installer not prompt user to integrate with CaliberRM?

## Resolution:

The reason you may not be prompted to integrate with CaliberRM is because you do not have the CaliberRM SDK installed.  If you have the SDK installed and you are not being prompted to integrate with CaliberRM then your Environment Variable for the SDK may be incorrect.

To resolve the environment variable issue:

1. Right click on My Computer and select properties.
2. Click the Environment Variables button
3. In System Variables search for the "Path" variable
4. Click the edit button.

The correct variables for the SDK will be similar to the following:

%CALIBER_SRV%;%VERSANT_PATH%;%DBMGR_PATH%;%SystemRoot%\system32;%SystemRoot%;%SystemRoot%\System32\Wbem;C:\Program Files\Borland\StarTeam SDK 10.0\Lib;C:\Program Files\Borland\StarTeam SDK 10.0\Bin;C:\Program Files\Borland\CaliberRM SDK 2008\lib;C:\Program Files\Borland\StarTeam SDK 11.0\Lib;C:\Program Files\Borland\StarTeam SDK 11.0\Bin

And for 64bit operating systems:

%CALIBER_SRV%;%VERSANT_PATH%;%DBMGR_PATH%;%SystemRoot%\system32;%SystemRoot%;%SystemRoot%\System32\Wbem;C:\Program Files (x86)\Borland\StarTeam SDK 10.0\Lib;C:\Program Files (x86)\Borland\StarTeam SDK 10.0\Bin;C:\Program Files (x86)\Borland\CaliberRM SDK 2008\lib;C:\Program Files (x86)\Borland\StarTeam SDK 11.0\Lib;C:\Program Files (x86)\Borland\StarTeam SDK 11.0\Bin

Please not there may be other entries in the path variable for other applications, so do not delete or modify these and it could cause issues with those applications. Please make a copy of your environment path before making any changes. Check that you have a CaliberRM 2008 SDK entry as highlighted above and if not please add it. Once you make these changes please reinstalled CaliberRDM.
