  • Product Name: Borland Search
  • Product Version: All


To configure Borland Search Server to run as a Windows service follow the steps below,

  1. Open a command prompt and change to the folder

    C:\Program Files\Borland\Borland Search\apache-tomcat-5.5.12\bin

  2. Type the following command

    service install BorlandSearch.

  3. Select START | CONTROL PANEL | ADMINISTRATIVE TOOLS | SERVICES

  4. Select the service "Apache Tomcat BorlandSearch"

  5. Right-Click and select PROPERTIES | GENERAL Tab

  6. Set the Startup type to "Automatic"
