Problem:

Database Creation Failure on install of CaliberRM server (E7031: UT_ER_DBID_NOACCESS: Failed to access database ID file

Resolution:

Problem Description:
User received the following error when installing the CaliberRM server (After reboot when the database was being created): Versant err#: 7031 Versant description:: E7031: UT_ER_DBID_NOACCESS: Failed to access database ID file ("ut/uter.c", line 686) Warning: PError while getting priority

Resolution:
Confirm that both the User Name of the individual installing CaliberRM and the Server machine name are less than 15 characters.
