Document Generated On field is displaying the wrong time

This article explains why the field Document Generated On displays a timestamp that is one hour off of the actual time.

Problem:

The Document Generated On field displays a timestamp that is one hour off of the actual time. Why is this occurring?

Resolution:

The root of the problem is in the way Windows is reporting the hour offset for daylight savings time. Then Optimal Trace uses that offset to generate the date and time in the Word document. To validate this is your issue you can open a blank word document and do the following keyboard combination (with your cursor inside the document): Alt + Shift + T. Please visit Microsofts website to find a fix for this issue.
