How can I create a custom menu options that allows me to launch external programs with arguments?

Resolution:

Question:
How can I create a custom menu options using an SDK application that allows me to launch external programs with arguments? I would like
the current user id avaiable in an external program and do not want to use StarTeam toolbar to do so.

Answer:
An undocumented argument that will allow this option is $(CONTEXT).

The string "$(CONTEXT)", is replaced by a string of the following format:
: "" "passwd"

So for example, if the server is running on the IP address 192.168.1.1, port 20000 with username and passwd both being "admin" (without the quotes), then the string $(CONTEXT) in the arguments would be replaced by the following:
192.168.1.1:20000 "admin" "admin" 105 0
where 105 is the project id and 0 is the current base line id.
