How can I create a filter in the Traceability Matrix that will return requirements without traces?

Problem:

How can I create a filter in the Traceability Matrix that will return requirements without traces?

Resolution:


  • Product Name: CaliberRM
  • Product Version: 2006
  • Product Component: Traceability Matrix
  • Platform/OS Version: Windows XP, 2000/2003 Server

Please see example below which uses the CaliberRM Sample database.

  • Project "X100 Droid" has 3 requirements within Requirement Type "User Requirements".
  • Requirements 1 & 2 have no traces
  • Requirement 3 has 1 trace to

Applying the filter below will remove all requirements with any traces (from or to) leaving you with requirements which have no traces.
