Problem:

How can I import projects created in DefineIT 2006 into DefineIT 2008?

Resolution:

Use the following steps to import DefineIT 2006 projects into DefineIT 2008:


Step 1: Open a cmd window and enter the following command:

CaliberRMDefineIT.exe -clean

Step 2: Once DefineIT 2008 opens, go to:

File -> Switch Workspace -> Other

Step 3: Navigate to the location where you have the DefineIT 2006 workspace stored and select "OK".

DefineIT will restart itself. It is now possible to "import the existing projects into the workspace" i.e. import DefineIT 2006 projects into DefineIT 2008
