Question:

How do I configure Caliber to use LDAP with SSL?

Answer:

In order to configure CaliberRM to use LDAP with SSL you need the following information:

  • The fully qualified hostname of the domain controller
  • BaseDN
  • Filter
  • BindDN
  • BindPW

Enter all data in the appropriate fields in the CaliberRM Server Control Panel (located in the Windows Control Panel). Check the SSL check box and change the Port to 636. Click Apply and then OK. The dbowner (This user can be determined by intering dblist in a cmd window. The dbowner is the same user as the "creator") must then recycle the Caliber services by entering dbmgr -stop/stop in a cmd window.
