How do I delete a baseline in CaliberRM?

How do I delete a baseline in CaliberRM?

Resolution:


  • Product Name: CaliberRM
  • Product Version: All
  • Platform/OS Version: All


To delete an unlocked baseline from CaliberRM we will first need to understand the structure of a baseline.

Delete Baseline

From the above diagram you can see that a baseline has links with a number of other CaliberRM objects.

  • Current Baseline
  • Requirement Types
  • Requirements

These links require to be removed / deleted so as the baseline can be deleted. If all these links are not removed / deleted you will receive the following error

CaliberRM Client

  1. Disassociate all requirement from all created baselines in baseline maintenance

    FILE | BASELINE ADMINISTRATION | BASELINE MAINTAINENCE

  2. Disassociate all requirement types from all created baselines in baseline maintenance

    FILE | BASELINE ADMINISTRATION | BASELINE MAINTAINENCE

    Step 1 & 2 Can be completed in one step by disassociating the Baseline in Baseline Maintenance. If you require to delete a locked baseline please contact Borland Support.
