How do I manually un-install the Caliber 2006 SDK?

How do I manually un-install the Caliber 2006 SDK?

Resolution:


  • Product Name: Caliber
  • Product Version: 2006 SDK
  • Product Component: Installation

The default uninstall of Caliber via Add/Remove Programs will not remove the Caliber SDK from the machine.

In order to fully uninstall Caliber from your machine, please follow the steps below:

  1. Uninstall Caliber via Add/Remove programs in the Control Panel

  2. Restart machine

  3. Remove the following directories:

C:\Borland\CaliberRMServer
C:\Program Files\Borland\CaliberRM
All directories containing the term: CaliberRM SDK in the folder: C:\Program Files\Borland

  • Take a backup of the registry and then delete the following registry entries:
    HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Borland\CaliberRM
    HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Borland\CaliberRM Administrator
    HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Borland\Configurator
    HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Borland\Docfactory
    HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Borland\Export
    HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Borland\Extractor
    HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Borland\Framework Administrator
    HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Borland\StarTeam Toolbar

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Borland\CaliberRM
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Borland\CaliberRM SDK
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Borland\CaliberRMDatamart
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Borland\StarTeam Toolbar
  • Restart the machine to finish uninstalling Caliber
