How should DefineIT be configured for use with the Belise license server?

How should DefineIT be configured for use with the Belise license server?

Problem:

How should DefineIT be configured for use with the Belise license server?

Resolution:

  • Product Name: DefineIT
  • Product Version: All
  • Product Component: License
  • Platform/OS Version: All

DefineIT can use Belise License Server slip files to authorise users. There are two slip files that require action to grant users access via their DefineIT client.

The first slip file "server_xxxxx.slip" should be placed in the BLS license directory on the Belize license server.

C:\Borland\BLS4\conf\

The second slip file "concurrent_xxxxx.slip" should be placed in the DefineIT license directory on each
client that requires access to DefineIT.

C:\Borland\CaliberDefineIT2008\license\
