How to purge queued emails before enabling notifications in order to prevent a flood of "old" emails?

How to purge queued emails before enabling notifications in order to prevent a flood of "old" emails?

Email notifications have been set up and users have been assigned as "responsible", but email notifications have not been enabled in the Framework Administrator. If notifications were to be enabled users would be flooded with emails caused by past changes.

To review e-mails in the queue log in as the CaliberRM database owner. To determine who the db owner is, type "dblist" at a command prompt (the creator is the owner).

To view emails stuck in the queue:

db2tty -d sqmdb -i MOActionMailMessage_p

To delete the emails that are queued:

dropinst -D sqmdb MailMessage _p MOActionMailMessage_p

Stop and restart the sqm monitor service
