Is VMWare supported with CaliberRM Server?

Borland understands that in order to operate efficiently some companies wish to utilize a virtualized server environment and install CaliberRM in such an environment. CaliberRM v2006 was not certified for VMware at the time of the release, however we have strong evidence since the time of release that the product will function normally in a VMware environment. Borland is willing to support customers on an as requested basis. The next release of CaliberRM (v2008) is scheduled to officially support VMware ESX Server. The CaliberRM v2006 Server is only supported on a Microsoft Windows Server Platform as listed in the release notes, and must be installed on hardware supported by VMware ESX Server.

In the event that an issue is reported to Borland Support which we cannot reproduce in a non-VMware environment, Borland Support will request that the customer reproduce the issue in their own environment without the use of VMware Server in order to eliminate the possibility that VMware server is the source of the issue.

**The CaliberRM v2006 client is not supported on VMware workstation or any other VMware product. The client must be installed on a supported Microsoft Windows operating system as listed in the product release notes.
