Is it possible to configure what TeamDefine objects are visible in the Requirement Grid in Caliber?

Is it possible to configure what TeamDefine objects are visible in the Requirement Grid in Caliber?

Problem:

Is it possible to configure what TeamDefine objects are visible in the Requirement Grid in Caliber?

Resolution:

  • Product Name: CaliberRM
  • Product Version: All
  • Product Component: TeamDefine Integration
  • Platform/OS Version: Windows XP, Windows 2000/2003 Server

There is a CaliberRM registry setting that determines which TeamDefine objects are displayed in the CaliberRM Requirements Grid, Doc Factory Reports etc.

In "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Borland\CaliberRM\10.0 Server", set the following key conditions as needed:

DWORD simRequirements = 0 (default value)

  • 0 = Only requirements
  • 1 = Team Define Requirements plus scenario objects (including all child objects like steps)
  • 2 = All TeamDefine objects

As this is a change CaliberRM Server side you will need to re-cycle the server for the changes to take affect. This can be done by running

dbmgr -stop
dbmgr -start
