Is it possible to extract Requirement details using the Java SDK?

Resolution:

  • Product Name: CaliberRM
  • Product Version: 2006
  • Product Component: SDK (Java)

Currently you can only search by Project ID within individual projects using the client. There is no default mechanism to search by ID number in all requirements in all projects throughout the entirerequirement database.

The sample Java code attached will run on the Caliber Sample database and will output the Project, Baseline and Requirement Type of the Requirement ID entered. When executed the output will look similar to:

ID: 1
Requirement Name: ATM Alerts

========
Location
========
Project: Automated Teller Machine
Baseline: Current Baseline
Requirement Type: 1. Business Requirements
