Problem:

Is it possible to insert a Requirement URL into an email?

Resolution:


  • Product Name: CaliberRM
  • Product Version: 2008
  • Product Component: Win32 Client
  • Platform/OS Version: All

It is possible to include a clickable Requirement URL in an email. In order for the recipient to be able to access the Requirement by clicking on the URL there are some prerequisites that the recipient needs,

To insert the Requirement URL into an email,

  1. Choose "Copy URL to Clipboard" for the desired requirement within CaliberRM.
  2. Next create a new email using HTML format
  3. Click INSERT | HYPERLINK
  4. Set the type to OTHER
  5. Paste the link into the URL box

The recipient should now be able to click on the URL in the email to display the Requirement.
