Is it possible to recreate the sample database?

Resolution:


  • Product Name: CaliberRM
  • Product Version: All
  • Product Component: Database
  • Platform/OS: All


To recreate the sample database perform the following steps:

  1. Open a command prompt on the Caliber server and enter the command

    dbmgr -stop

  2. Open Windows Explorer and navigate to the folder

    :\Borland\CaliberRMServer\Versant\DB

  3. Rename any SQMDB folders to .old e.g. SQMDB.old

  4. At the command prompt enter the command

    makedb SQMDB

  5. Next, enter the command, this will stream in the sample database.

    dbmgr -new -sample SQMDB

  6. Once completed, make sure the serivces are running by entering the command

    dbmgr -start

  7. The sample database should now be recreated, to access the database use the login

    username: admin
    password: admin
