Is it possible to retain requirement history when copying a requirement?

Problem:

Is it possible to retain requirement history when copying a requirement?

Resolution:

  • Product Name: CaliberRM
  • Product Version: All
  • Product Component: Win32 Client
  • Platform/OS version: All

It is not possible to retain the history of a requirment when you copy and paste it into another project.

When you copy and paste a requirement, although you are pasting a copy of the requirement, this is actually creating a new requirement. A new requirement by it"s nature does not have any associated history.
