Is there any way to store the documents associated with a requirement directly into the DB instead of the hard disk?

Problem:

Is there any way to store the documents associated with a requirement directly into the DB instead of the hard disk?

Resolution:

  • Product Name: CaliberRM
  • Product Version: 2005
  • Product Component: Win32 Client
  • Platform/OS Version: Windows

Description:

Is there any way to store the documents associated with a requirement (attachments) directly into the DB instead of storing it in a directory on the hard disk ?

Answer/Solution:

There is currently no way to store the document reference directly into the DB. One possible workaround would be to use a text attachment, which would be stored directly into the DB.
