Requirement Grid does not display all requirements after upgrade to CaliberRM 2008 SP1

Requirement Grid does not display all requirements after upgrade to CaliberRM 2008 SP1

Problem:

Requirement Grid does not display all requirements after upgrade to CaliberRM 2008 SP1

Resolution:

If you can not see all of your requirements in the CaliberRM Requirement Grid after upgrading to CaliberRM 2008 Service Pack 1 (SP1), you will need to re-upgrade your database. You do not need to install any additional software, you simply need to execute the dbmgr -upgrade process again.
Here are the steps to resolve this issue:
  1. Log into the CaliberRM server as the database owner (To determine who the dbowner is, type dblist at a dos prompt. The creator is the owner).
  2. Execute a "dbmgr -stop" command to insure that nobody is using the CaliberRM system while this process is running.
  3. Execute a "dbmgr -upgrade" command to upgrade your database.
-- This process can take several hours depending on the size of your database. Please let the process complete.
  4. Execute a "dbmgr -start" to restart your CaliberRM Server
At this point, you should be able to view all of the requirements in the Requirement Grid. If you are still unable to see all of your requirements in the Requirement Grid, please contact Borland Technical Support.
