The CaliberRM Server and wireless software should not be installed on the same machine ?E3004: NET_EREAD: Network layer read error?.

Problem:

The CaliberRM Server and wireless software should not be installed on the same machine ?E3004: NET_EREAD: Network layer read error?.

Resolution:

Versant has indicated that there are known incompatibilities between the database used by the CaliberRM server and wireless software that is installed on the same machine. This may result in the inability to install the SQM Monitor and/or database errors similar to the following:

Versant description:: E3004: NET_EREAD: Network layer read error

The only known resolution is to permanently uninstall the wireless software from the machine. Re-installing the wireless software will cause the CaliberRM server to become inoperable.

Please be sure that you have installed the CaliberRM server software on a machine that meets the minimum system requirements as defined in the installation guide for the product.
