Problem:

What causes the error, "Element content is incomplete according to the DTD/Schema"?

Resolution:


  • Product Name: CaliberRM
  • Product Version: All
  • Product Component: Glossaries
  • Platform/OS Version: Windows XP, Windows 2000/2003 Server


This error can be generated when importing an XML file into the glossary. The error is generated if the terms in the XML file being imported do not match the defined Schema/DTD.

The XML file should follow the schema below:




droid
A machine that acts independently of direct human control. A droid can be programmed to perform specific actions which do not require human guidance.




If any Terms do not include the or element for example, the error above will be thrown as they will not fit the schema.
